My Philosophy
My philosophy is to capture emotion and a moment in time in my paintings.
I like to paint on mostly natural materials including wood. Wood is a natural material, so it can sometimes show imperfections. I do not try to correct this. In my opinion, it adds to the uniqueness and beauty of the paintings.
I like to challenge the tradition that paintings have equal sides, square corners, or straight borders on a flat canvas.
When we look at a painting, it can reflect the emotion we are feeling.
My goal is to create an unrepeatable moment - an imprint of feeling, energy, and thought. I enjoy exploring the limitless possibilities of expression that come with my painting. My work is more than just visual; it’s an experience, an emotion captured in form.
“Each of my paintings is entirely unique. This ensures that every collector owns a fragment of a story, a singular expression of a fleeting ephemeral moment that will never be replicated.”
